Corporate Identity = True Metal Art

Metal Therapy

The Metal Therapy Chopper serves as a marketing tool for our Corporate Identity to showcase and promote our abilities. This bike is a true hand built motorcycle, the biggest question we receive is "CAN YOU RIDE IT ?" The answer is YES ! It rides correctly and supports a passenger with a suction cup removable rear seat and is a legal motorcycle. Although it does require a bit of advanced planning for maneuverability and obviously drawn tremendous attention from the public it has made several rounds taveling to various venues on the East Coast. Taking home a variety of trophies for: First Place Chopper, Best of Show Motorcycle, Top Custom Class, Best Extreme, and the prestigious Duck Award in the Cleveland Autorama. Making its debut at the popular Daytona Bike Week in Florida, it received a trophy for the Radical Class. It has made numerous appearances at the North Canton Quaker Steak and Lube restaurant during the very popular Wednesday Bike Nights. It is currently on display in our lobby and demonstrates our skills as true metal craftsman, it is generally the first thing people notice when they walk through the doors generally met with a WOW! and always serves as a hot topic of conversation!

Metal Therapy Chopper

Steffon Hoppel offers the story of how Metal Therapy came to life... “ When I decided to build a custom bike, I knew it had to be different in several ways. This would be very difficult with so many builders having creative ideas in the industry. Metal Therapy is a product of 2 years of research and design and another year and a half of construction time. We started at the ground level by creating a wheel designed exclusively for this bike, this foundation inspired tone and shape concept for the bike to follow. After the 2 spoke axe shaped wheels were complete with tires, we were ready to move forward and the components began to arrive.

As the project began to take on a new dimension of its own we realized this undertaking would require a unique one of a kind work area and we constructed an 11’ long 15’ wide H beam bike construction table fixture. Not long thereafter we established rake height and length of the machine using the original concept sketch and our existing mach up. It didn't take long to determine that other than the components we already collected it would be necessary to hand craft all remaining components. No after market frame, tank, rear suspension handle bars, or sheet metal would work for this project. Thanks to the hard work of good friends Dennis Ferguson in fabrication and Terry Cugini on paint we brought this project together.”

The Canton Repository a local newspaper visited our facility in July 2008 to conduct a photo and video shoot of the Metal Therapy Chopper. Their project resulted in an online album that captured photos immediately following the completion of the chopper that can be viewed here. In addition they also created a short video offering an audio to hear the actual sound of the motor and shows the chopper in motion on their YouTube channel. Returning the following year we were featured in their September 28,2009 publication of “Made in Stark” where they dedicated an area to shine the spotlight on local Stark County Manufacturers.
